Natalie Watson Health Care Support Worker for Hampshire Hospital Foundation Trust, is celebrating becoming smoke free! Quit Jan 2019
As a Health Care Support Worker on a Respiratory Ward at Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Natalie is all too familiar with the impact that smoking can have on health. However, having wanted to quit for many years, it was the recent loss of her sister to cancer that prompted her to make a promise to quit.
‘I wanted a healthier life for myself, my children and my nephew. I received great support and practical tips from Quit4life. Even swapping my first cuppa of the day for soup. I’ve now quit and will stay quit. I can’t believe the benefits I have noticed from health, financial and my self-esteem’
Natalie came along to a drop-in session at her work place on a regular basis to see her adviser. Sessions are open to all HHFT staff who want to quit.
Mondays 12-2pm, Basingstoke & North Hampshire Hospital, Health Information Point.
Thursdays 12-2pm, Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Health4Works Office, Health4Works Building.
